The National Natural Science Foundation of China's major project quarterly report conference held at YSU


[News from the News Center] On July 4, the second quarter report and seminar of the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NNSFC)’s major project “The Basic Research on Intelligent Electrostatic Liquid Actuator” hosted by Chinese Academy of Engineering Yang Huayong was held at YSU. Zhao Dingxuan, YSU President, attended the meeting and delivered a welcome speech.

Yang Huayong, Prof. Jiao Zongxia of Beihang University, Prof. Zhao Libo of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Kong Xiangdong of YSU, Director Zhang Pengfei of Aviation Industry Jincheng Nanjing Electromechanical Hydraulic Engineering Research Center among other 50 scholars, experts and technicians attended the meeting.

The main content of the meeting is to follow up the completion of the progress of the NNSFC's major projects for half a year, the difficulties encountered and the work that needs coordination between various units. At the meeting, the five PI under the project made reports on research progress. The scholars, experts and technicians had a detailed discussion and clarified the work for the next steps.

On July 5, accompanied by Prof. Yao Jing of the School of Mechanical Engineering, the key academic members of the project visited YSU Hebei Key Laboratory of Heavy Machinery Fluid Power Transmission and Control, National Engineering Research Center for Equipment and Technology of C.S.R. and National & Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Advanced Manufacture Forming Technology and Equipment.

The NNSFC’s major project “Basic Research on Intelligent Electrostatic Liquid Actuator” is a basic research on EHA in the aviation field and has great strategic significance for improving China's national defense. Kong Xiangdong presided over the third session of “Electrostatic Drive Actuator Additive Manufacturing Control”, which was the breakthrough for our university in such project.
